How to get the corner session or object in the adexl with skill

Hi All

I want to retrieve the information of the corner setup in the ADEXL.

by going through the documents and Forums, I find out how to get the variables and model setup.

but I cannot get the setup of the "tests" inside the corner setup.

Does somebody know how to do it?

another relevant question is that:

from the function of ADE XL (axl*), I can get the handle of the corner.

I'd like to know how to reach the object of the corner from its handle.

As the functions of ADE L ask the object of corner as the input.

Best Regards

    Hi Andrew

Sorry that I do not make my question clear.

    • Regarding the "setup of 'test' inside the corner setup"

In the bottom of ADEXL corner setup popup window, you can select/deselect "Tests" for each defined corner case.

what I want is to retrieve this information, whether "Test_A" has been selected for "Corner_B". I do not  find the suitable functions for this in the document.

fortunately, I find a function which is not mentioned in the docuemtn, "axlGetCornersForATest()", it can return the enabled corner simulations for a perticular Test. It provides the info I asked above in the other way. The drawback is that, the return value of such function is the list of corner simulation after the combinaton of all the temperature, design variables etc. So, instead of getting one original setup of the corner, I get the expanded version. Moreover the corner name has also been extened with aditional suffix.(for example, origin name is "PVT", after expanding, it becomes "PVT_1, PVT_2..."). It takes me a lot effort to obtain the info I need. and I cannot solve the issue when the original coner name contains "_".

    • regarding the object and handle for a corner, this is the story behind:

For the function "axlGetCorner()", the return value is a "hanld of a corner( x_corner)", but I cannot access the relavent info about such corner via the "~>" operator and the handle of the corner. In order to get the setup of such corner, I can only depend on the functions provided by cadence.

On the other hand, from the "Virtuoso Analog Design Environment L SKILL function reference"(release on February 2012, Product Version 6.1.5), there are also some functions about the corner, like "asiGetCornerModelSelevtionList()", it requires an input of "Corner Object (o_corner)". Such functions make me feel that the corner object in adexl may also exist, then I can use the "~>" operator to retrieve the info I need, not limited by the functions that Cadenece provide.

So it comes to my question, when I have the handle of the corner, how can I get the object of the corner?

    Best Regards
