How to get the minimum & maximum value of Device parameters ?

Hi,

I am writing a script to check the minimum & maximum value of the parameters of a device.

Ex:Consider a mos device.To get the minimum value of width of that particular mos i am doing as below.

cdfID = cdfGetInstCDF(mosID)

paramID_width = cdfFindParamByName(cdfID width)

minValue = paramID_width~>defValue

For most of the technology this value is equal to the minimum value,but for some it is failing.

Can you give a solution to get  minimum as well as maximum value of the parameter.

Thanks,

Amar Kumar

    Not sure how your script is working or the process it flows.

    Some scripts I have used the functions min(a b) and max(a b) to something similar to what you want. You can look at the functions through the cdsFinder to get a better description.
