How to keep a custom command active until ESC is pressed ?

Hi,

I have written a script to put contact at the overlap of two metals. But the command works only once. If I want to put contact at the next overlap I need to call the function again.

So, how could I keep the command active till ESC is pressed like copy, create path commands ?

    What is the input command to invoke your script; enterPoint, select box, etc

    What I have done if an enterPoint() was have a while loop

    Ex:

    while(repeat
                    unless(loop repeat = nil)
                    if(deGetEIP(cw) then
                            pt      = geWindowToEditPoint(cw enterPoint(?noInfix t))
                    else    pt      = enterPoint(?noInfix t))
                    if(geCoordp(pt) then
                            ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;yourScriptOrSomthing;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
                    else    repeat = nil)
            )
