Hi Andrew,

I am trying a create a via object using skill command in Virtuoso 6.1.6-64b.  I have written code as below-

cvId = geGetEditCellView()
tech = techGetTechFile(cvId)
viaDefId = techFindViaDefByName(tech "M1_M2")

And then obtaining the via parameters from already present via by selecting it and using following commands-

a=geGetSelSet()

viaParams=a~>viaHeader~>overrideParams

And when I try to use the below command to create a new via at the same location,  I getting warning message back.

newVia = dbCreateVia(cvId viaDefId car(a~>origin) car(a~>orient) viaParams)

*WARNING* (DB-270585): dbiListToStdViaViaParam:via parameter 1 - Invalid parameter for the viaDef.

nil

Please let me know where I am going wrong.

Thanks,

Anand
