Hi,

I want to turn off grid and track by default in layout editor. Can someone tell me lines to be added in .cdsenv file? I am suing ICADV 12.3

Thanks

    Hi Gunavant,

I'm not sure that you can actually do this with a .cdsenv, however, you could write a layout view trigger that runs the following code:

    pteSetVisible("Grids" nil "Grids")
    pteSetVisible("Tracks" nil "Grids")

I haven't got time to find a specific example of a view trigger but look for deRegUserTriggers() and you should find some code examples either in this forum or on Cadence's support pages.

    Best regards,

    Lawrence.
