SIN function

Hello,

I try to use a sin function in order to draw some shape in the layout but it is strange why when I type sin(90) in CIW, the result is not 1 but 0.893.. ?

Where I wrong :)

Regards,

jazzmatazz

    That's because the argument should be in radians, not degrees. The example in the documentation (SKILL Language User Guide) makes that pretty obvious...

    deg=90
    defMathConstants('myConsts)
    sin(deg*myConsts.PI/180.0) => 1.0

    (the defMathConstants is a convenient way of referencing a variety of useful constants without needing to type them in).

    Andrew.
