?display "artParameterInToolDisplay('wglen)" is giving a problem

Hi

I wrote a skill code to create a cdf for a cellview.

cdfCreateParam(cdfId , ?name "wglen"
                                      ?units "lengthMetric"
                                      ?prompt "wg_length(min=0.0m ,max=1.0m)"
                                      ?defValue "1e-05m"
                                      ?type "string"
                                      ?display "artParameterInToolDisplay('wglen)"
                                      ?parseAsNumber "yes"
                                      ?parseAsCEL "yes" )

This code doesn't give any problem and I can see the param wglen in the Properties of the cellview.

However if I use wg_len, I could not see the wg_len in the properties. Is '_' a special character here?

Thanks,

Lavanya

    Hi Lavanya,

    It works fine for me. If I do:

    cdfCreateParam(cdfId , ?name "wg_len"
      ?units "lengthMetric"
      ?prompt "wg_length(min=0.0m ,max=1.0m)"
      ?defValue "1e-05m"
      ?type "string"
      ?display "artParameterInToolDisplay('wg_len)"
      ?parseAsNumber "yes"
      ?parseAsCEL "yes"
    )

    and also ensure that wg_len is in the instParameters in the spectre simInfo in the CDF:

    cdfId->simInfo->spectre = '( nil
      modelParamExprList nil
      optParamExprList nil
      opParamExprList nil
      stringParameters nil
      propMapping nil
      termMapping nil
      instParameters (wglen wg_len)
      otherParameters nil
      termOrder nil
      componentName subcircuit
      netlistProcedure nil
    )

    Because you have the artParameterInToolDisplay display callback, that filters parameters which won't be net listed by your current simulators.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
