Failed to import a cdl netlist

NickA

I've been trying to import a schematic from a .cdl netlist file using the "Spice In" import option, and it's failing with the below spiceIn.log log. I can't see anything here that suggest what I'm doing wrong. Can you give me any ideas of what I could try?

Thanks very much,

Nick

    Hi Nick,

This might be a similar issue to one I found with CCR 2174246 (this is for my reference in case this comes up again) which was related to capacity limitations with schematic generation (there is definitely some work needed for this). You might want to try the "Generate Fast Schematic" option on the File->Import->SPICE schematic generation tab (if present). Which Virtuoso version are you using? (Help->About should tell you).

I suspect we'll need to see the CDL netlist so you may be best contacting customer support.

    Thanks,

    Andrew.
