How to disable the field created by hiCreateLayerCyclicField?

This function seems a little "primitive" compared to most other form-related functions. Its options aren't named, and therefore unlike those functions, there is no "?enabled nil" option.

Thus, how would I disable it (have it greyed out) if I need to? Or is it not possible to do so?

My Virtuoso version is IC617ISR23. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    Use hiSetFieldEnabled after creating it:

    lc=hiCreateLayerCyclicField(tf "Layer" "" leGetValidLayerList(tf))
    hiSetFieldEnabled(lc nil)

    Or later from the form (this is assuming you have the default field name being used):

    hiSetFieldEnabled(CCFform->hiLayerField nil)

    Andrew.
