How to get form handle using window and form name

Hi,

I create a window with some form. I have also function registered with hiRegCloseProc to this window. This function gets the window as its argument. How can I get form handle using the window?

For example when creating window with form

win=hiCreateWindow(
  list(100:100 500:500)
  "form"
  "muwindow"
  ""
  nil
  myForm
);hiCreateWindow

hiRegCloseProc(win 'myCloseProc)

And then

procedure( myCloseProc(win)
;how to get form handle here using win and form name
);proc ATCopyCellsByListFileGUICloseProc

    Hi Alex,

You could store the form handle on the window structure (when you create the form, for example) and then you have access to it from you close proc, no guessing needed (e.g. hiGetCurrentForm() ).

    Best regards,

    Lawrence.

You can use win->hiForm to get the form name, and if you need the form object itself, you'd use symeval(win->hiForm). So there's no need to store an object on the window structure - it's already linked by virtue of creating a window form...

    Regards,

    Andrew.
