Suresh Layout
Suresh Layout over 4 years ago

I tried to change the net names of instance terminals . since It is working when i gave single net name for all terminals .

x=css()

new_net = dbMakeNet(geGetEditCellView() "net1")

x~>instTerms~>net = new_net

Result

         x~>instTerms~>net = new_net
db:0x8e10659b
>
(db:0x8e10659b db:0x8e10659b db:0x8e10659b db:0x8e10659b db:0x8e10659b
db:0x8e10659b db:0x8e10659b
)
>

But It is is giving error when i gave multiple net names  in list

All_nets = list(new_net new_net new_net new_net new_net new_net new_net)

 x~>instTerms~>net = All_nets

Result

x~>instTerms~>net = All_nets
*Error* dbSetq: Invalid net - (db:0x8e10659b db:0x8e10659b db:0x8e10659b db:0x8e10659b db:0x8e10659b ... )
<<< Stack Trace >>>
setSGq((x~>instTerms) All_nets net)

So please correct me where i am wrong .

Thanks

    maybe something like :

    foreach(mapcar net  x~>instTerms~>net

    net=newnet

    )

    That approach won't help. It's not clear why you would be trying to assign as a list (if all the nets are the same), but if you have a list of instTerms, and a list of nets (All_nets) you'd do this:

    foreach((instTerm net) x~>instTerms All_nets
      instTerm~>net=net
    )

    This is looping over two lists together - the list of instTerms and the list All_nets and then dealing with each assignment one by one.
