Exit after a simulation is complete

Jonty

Hi,

I am running simulation from a skill script using the following command, and I am using the command "virtuoso -nocdsinit -nographE -restore mySkill.il" to load the SKILL script.

maeRunSimulation(?session sn )

I want to exit from the virtuoso prompt after simulation is complete, but when I use "exit" after the above command, the script exits before the simulation is complete.

Is there a fail-safe way to exit virtuoso after completing the simulation?

Thank you!

You can either pass ?waitUntilDone t to the maeRunSimulation function, or you can use the return value of maeRunSimulation as one of the list you pass to the maeWaitUntilDone function (the latter is useful if you've submitted several simulations and want to wait for them all, rather than waiting for them in turn).
