How to automatically open tabs in SKILL IDE

When I'm doing a big PDK update, I'd like to open my techfile, a couple of files with utility code, and maybe 15-30 pcells in the IDE, preferably in a specific order.  It gets really tedious doing this manually, especially when I'm switching between my WFH VM and at-work workstation.  Is there a way to open a list of files using code?  The closest thing I got to a solution uses the hi commands, which works but feels particularly inelegant.

_ilgHiShowFileOpenForm()

(hiFileDialogSetSelection _ilgFileDialog '("/home/path" ( "filename.il")) 'done)

(hiFileDialogDone _ilgFileDialog t)

    You can do this with:

    ilgRunSKILLIDE(?fileList list("~/skill/abInvokeCdfCallbacks.il" "~/skill/abFindUnconnectedInstances.il" "~/skill/CCFcompareXorY.il"))

    The ilgRunSKILLIDE is public, and the ?fileList argument is a list of files to open (in order).
