Setting up the Bind key .

I want one key to toggle the visibility (between visible/ invisible) of metal ( say <Key>1 for M1). I used " hiSetBindKey("Layout" "<Key>1" "leSetLayerVisible(\"M1\" t)") " this code to make it visible. Now, how can use the same key to make it invisible ??

Use "not" leIsLayerVisible as the value.

    hiSetBindKey("Layout" "<Key>1" "leSetLayerVisible(\"M1\" !leIsLayerVisible(\"M1\"))")

Seriously? It's pretty obviously named - leIsLayerVisible determines whether (shock, horror) the given layer is visible or not, and the "!" operator is a not - it inverts the result. So that means that if the layer is visible, leIsLayerVisible(layerName) returns t and !leIsLayerVisible(layerName) would then be nil. So setting the layer visibility to the inverse of the current visibility will toggle the visibility.

You could also read the documentation.
