i'm trying to split a shape (polygon) from the middle/any place based on the co ordinates provided - using lespiltshape command ,it seems that it is not working

cvId2=dbOpenCellViewByType("Libname" "all_pch_nch_testcases" "layout" "" "a")

var =getGetSelectedSet()

leSplitShape(car(var) list(0 1) list(0:0 4:4) t t)

bBox of the shape is ((5287 0) (5.387 4.753)) 

But the shape seems to be not spliting

    Why would it? The split line doesn't even intersect the shape (it must intersect an even number of times, as you'd see if you tried doing this interactively via the Edit->Advanced->Split command).
