Problem with Using Pin Tool

Jinhyung
Jinhyung over 2 years ago

I'm using 'Pin Tool' si usefully, but I found the critical error with this tool.

The case was this.

I had the net named 'EN<1>', so I put the label 'EN<1>' on it.

After that, I clicked 'Pin Tool' -> 'Create' -> 'Create Pin From Label' and made pin succesfully.

However, when I clicked the pin and saw the properites, the 'Pin Name' and the 'Terminal Name' changed 'EN[1]' automatically.(The bracket changed.)

Every pin name with '<>' changed to '[]' after creating pin.

This error seems not critical, but when I use connectivity, it didn't work because of that error.

Is there any solution with this error?

Thanks for your time.

Best regards.

Which IC sub-version are you using? Help→About in any Virtuoso window will tell you this (please provide the complete version number). I don't see this in IC6.1.8 ISR32 (IC6.1.8-64b.500.32)

    Thanks for your time.

    My version is this. "IC6.1.8-64b.500.16"

In this version, that error happens.

    Best regards.
