Getting multiple Dock window attached to layout window when used with deRegUserTriggers

Hi,

After creating dockable window containing a form, how to locate and delete in order to recreate the dockable window and form - Custom IC SKILL - Cadence Technology Forums - Cadence Community

I am using a dock window script mentioned in above link and trying to attach it to the deRegUserTriggers. so that everytime i open the layout window the dock window will be attached to it.

deRegUserTriggers("maskLayout" nil nil 'my_app_map_dwin)

It works fine when i open the layout window. But when i change it to edit/read mode again it triggers and add one more dock window to the layout window.

How to avoid getting multiple dock windows.

Thanks,

Shanmug.

    Hi,

Are you using the first solution or the one with a table referencing one dockable window per session one?

With the first solution, your issue is expected but I'd be surprised if it happens with the second one

    Cheers

    Aurélien
