How to flatten a gds/oas file?

Hi,

Is it possible to flatten a gds/oas file in command-line before streaming in to the Virtuoso env?

If yes, whats the method? If not, is this something that can be achieved using a SKILL code?

    Apologies for the delay... I had a ascertained this was probably possible with the Design Review QUAKE tool but it's a flow I have not worked with much. After a little reference to docs etc. I found this works:

    Create a file (e.g. quakeFlat.py) containing...

      #!/bin/python3

      gdsPath = './aCellLvlTop.gds'

      cell = 'aCellLvlTop'

      gdsOut = './aCellLvlTopFlat.gds'

      dbId = k2_quake.data_read_file(gdsPath, cell)

      cell_extents = k2_quake.data_get_db_cell_extent(dbId, cell)

      k2_quake.data_db_extract(dbId, gdsOut, cell, cell_extents)

    Obviously substitute filenames accordingly. Then run as follows..

      k2_quake_python quakeFlat.py

    N.B. This will require access and licences for PVS/Pegasus Design Review.
