How can I restrict   viaGenerateViasAtPoint to add  auto-via of only one type of via

For example even if there are  met1 ,met2,met3 overlapping at one point ,I need to add only via between met1-met2

Thanks for the help in advance

    Then I realise you are using SKILL... Try this:

    techFile = techGetTechFile(ddGetObj("gpdk045"))
    constraintGroupId = cstFindConstraintGroupIn(techFile "virtuosoDefaultSetup")
    myViaOptions = viaGetViaOptions(constraintGroupId)
    viaGenerateViasAtPoint(cv list(25 25) myViaOptions ?topAndBottomLayers list("Metal2" "Metal1") )

    Substituting techfile, location and layers as appropriate.

    Potentially an option to setup a Constraint Group too but that's a bit more work.
