Dear everyone,

I am using IC23.1 studio version, I am struggling to use modgen every modification I made it's hang out and slow.

Do anyone can help me how can I resolve and know cause the issue of slowness.

This image below is flagging in my CIW:

Do this cause the slowness of modgen?

I have seen reference to such issues in TSMCN28, 20 and potentially 16. Are you using one of these nodes? It seems it's largely due to the pCells (callbacks). I'm not sure it's ever been resolved.

How big are the modgens you create?

    Hello RobMan,

I am working on tsmc 22nm, with a small block with a simple diff pair Group array. and its frustrating modifying modgen, it takes 10 to 15 mins in every modify we make.

    Thank you for the reply..
