Showing list of history name and its notes for similar history name at ADE Assembler

This is taken from the blog post. Is it possible to do it at ADE Assembler level? (SKILL solution is welcomed too)

I need to run on ADE Assembler instead of ADE explorer for comparing variables/setup state.

You can see the notes as a tooltip in the history tab of the Data View assistant - is this what you want? My first rule is don't write SKILL for something that already exists (if it's close enough)!

This appears to be a bug with the older way of setting the history name prior to simulation: envSetVal("adexl.historyNamePrefix" "showNameHistoryForm" 'boolean t)

There's a newer way in Assembler with a toolbar to set the history name. That however doesn't have the ability to set notes - that's Cadence Change Request #2696580 which is requesting this. I suspect the older and newer history name mechanisms are interfering with each other and the note setting part has broken (it's certainly broken in IC23.1 ISR9).

I see, so it is known bug. I will write the note after the run is launched then. Thanks a lot!

No, it's not a known bug (as far as I am aware). I reproduced it, but I didn't find any reports of it. You should report it to customer support.
