How to hide the contents of "Fig Groups" when using "Ctrl+F" funcion?

Hi,

I'm using the "Fig Groups" function in Virtuoso Layout now.(Version IC23.1)

And there's a difference between my experiences when using Version IC20~ (I forget the exact version)  I want to solve.

Before, when using "Ctrl+F"  function,  the contents of "Fig Groups" will be hidden and only the "Frame of Group" and "Group Name" could be seen.

The performance is exacttly the same as "Instances" when using "Ctrl+F".

But now, the default of my Virtuoso is only the contents of "Instances" will be hidden, but the "Fig Group" will not be effected.(like figure attached below)

I wish the "Fig Group"  can just acts like "Instances".

Is there any way to solve it?

By the way, there is an article where someone is encountering the opposite issue compared to mine.

He wanted to let "Fig Group" uneffected when doing "Ctrl+F".

The title is " How to make the Option "Fig Groups" turn on when executing the Virtuoso Layout "

and the solutions to him(below) is not suitable for me because I can't fint "pteIntraDefValueObjGrids" term in my  .cdsenv

Best Regards.

Those are exactly the settings needed to enable this (it wasn't the default in the past as far as I know, but maybe it was in some project setup file). Either:

    envSetVal("layout" "pteInfraDefValueObjGrids" 'string "Fig_Groups t")
    envSetVal("layout" "displayFigGroupName" 'boolean t)

    in your .cdsinit or

    layout pteInfraDefValueObjGrids string "Fig_Groups t"
    layout displayFigGroupName boolean t

    in your .cdsenv

This is the same as turning on the visibility of "Fig Groups" visibility (V column) in the Objects part of the Palette, and then turning on "Group Name Only" on Options->Display in the layout window.

It wasn't an article - it was another post in this forum.
