Antenna violations

 Hi,

I found antenna violations (all violations are on the cell pin only(PIN A), each cell one violations,) like this around 20 violations are present.

All violations are on the metal3, which is highest metall layer in my design and i dont have antenna cell in my physical library.

Nanoroute has shown this violations.

Nanoroute has the some mode setup (options) for antenna like:
*** ignore antenna violations on top cell pins.

i have tried in either way (enabled and disbled both way ) but there is no change in results.

should i ignore these violations or i have to fix these violations.

i dont have any antenna cell in my physical lef or library, violations are presnt on the highest metal layer then how to solve this violations,

Regards,

Kul

     Hi Prashant,

The antenna cells will not cause any problems in STA or LVS. In fact, they WOULD cause problems in LVS if you left them out of the netlist.
