TLF and .LIB

In the cadence tool flow for digital IC implementation do both of these files are necessay or any one of them will serve the purpose....do both these files contain the same information in different forms OR are they entirely different from each other??....

     Hi Gops,

    If I remember correctly, TLF was a timing library format that has pretty much the same information as a .lib file. I haven't heard or seen of anyone using TLF in many years. If you have .lib files, those are the ones to use.
