CTS considering Level shifters

How are level shifters treated during clock tree synthesis, in MSV flow, by Encounter?

Are there any specific settings that need to be set for CTS to understand that level shifters are present in the design?

     Hi,

I would like to add on to this query. If there are level shifters in the deisgn, will the clock tracing alogrithm trace thorough the level shifter or we need to specifically mention these level shifter pins to be traced through in the cts spec file.

    Regards

    Vijay

Encounter recognizes the Shifter cells based on CPF definition. Level shifters are automatically traced thru during CTS - It is treated as a combinational cell (which it is).
