Attach net in streaming out

archive
archive over 19 years ago

Hi;
I am using encounter for p&r and calibre for lvs.
I am trying to put port names on the pads so that calibre can recognize the ports.
I tried attachNetName but, I couldn't do that.
Is there any way by which I can stream out port names (with text layers)?

Thank you

    Hi ,

Please use the following command and info.
BTW is this for Black or Chip ?

    ##### Output GDSII #####
    setStreamOutMode -SEcompatible ON
    streamOut [dbgDesignName]file.outgds \
    -structureName [dbgDesignName] \
    -mapFile gds2.map \
    -units 1000

Ex. for mapfile to be appended:
NOTE : Map info. Depends on GDS ports text pattran .
    # following section has been defined for pad text layer extraction
    NAME M1/PIN 45 8
    NAME M2/PIN 47 8
    NAME M3/PIN 49 8
    NAME M4/PIN 51 8
    NAME M5/PIN 57 8

    Regards,
    Mohan
