Usin Encounter with async design

 Hello All,

I'm new using the encounter tool; I have written a script to route and genrate the layout and gate delay of my design and all works fine. When I use this on my asynchronous design, and then simulate with sdf files, it does not function properly. Encounter does not give an error but a warning about timing loops, it seems it is disabling timing arcs in the c-element module which is crucial for async design.

I was hoping someone could tell me how I can stop this? Is there a command that asks the tool to ignore the c-element module or just keep the loop?

Best Regards

kaf

p.s sorry if i posted this twice but i put it in the wrong place the first time
