Some body please tell me how to create a" PAD FRAME" using encounter.Please share if you have good documents regarding the same.Thanks gops

     Hi Gops,

     If by "pad frame" you mean the IO ring, or the arrangement of the IO cells around the edge of the chip, then there are a few ways you could do this. You could start with default placement of the IOs, then output an IO file, and modify it to your liking. Sometimes we get a spreadsheet from the customer or package folks, and write a perl script or something to parse a text version and put it in the format of the FE IO file, or DEF format.
