how can i get dummy lefs for macros to proceed with pnr?

     Suresh,

    I just posted to your other LEF thread, so you could try the ways I mentioned there - but if you just need something quick, you can create one by hand. Use another LEF that has MACRO definitions as a template, and enter the size of your macro. Pins can be more difficult - sometimes you can write a quick perl script or something to output pin info in LEF format. If your MACRO only has a few pins, you can do it by hand, but I'm guessing your macro has more than a few. Don't forget to add blockages. The macro vendor should have included a LEF, but if you are creating the macro yourself, you should probably look into either exporting LEF from Virtuoso, or using an abstract tool.
