adding nwell

does anybody know how to add isloation nwells in encounter. is it possible to add in the first place...

Ah, sorry I misunderstood. Since guard rings usually involve layers below M1, we do create those in DFII/Virtuoso like you did and put everything together in the chip assembly step at the end.
