Power pads estimation

archive
archive over 19 years ago

Hi all,

I'm using SoC Encounter to
obtain a statistical power estimation of my chip.
I've set different external loads
on the io pads by mean  of several sdc
constraint files.
The problem is that the power consumption of
the pads doesn't change at all for different
 external loads.
I'm using the "dummy_clock"  option.

Can anybody help me?
Thank you

    I'm sorry...

The problem was just the syntax
of the  SDC  command to set pad loads.

I've found the solution in the PowerMeter Manual.

    Thank you.
