1)  True Hierarchical Floorplanning on the Encounter Platform by Jack Benzel

You can always learn some new trips by seeing how other people do their floorplanning.  At the same time you can share their joys and pains.

2) Synthesis Flow for Timing Closure in Place and Route by Karl Pfalzer

I have been playing around with RTL_compiler with PLE for about 1 month.  Out of 4 p&r blocks, i was able to get some timing correlation on 3 blocks with SOCE timing after placement and optimization.  It will be very interesting to see other user experiences.
