dB command to get top level port names.

    Hello,
I am looking to write a TCL script to extract the top level I/O instance names from a design.  Does anyone know of a db command in Encounter to get the names of the top level ports in the design?

    "dbForEachCellFTerm" can be used to loop through all of the top level ports in a design. Here's an example:

    dbForEachCellFTerm [dbHeadTopCell] fterm {
    puts "[dbFTermName $fterm]"
    }

    There are sample scripts shipped with the software that you could refer to for more examples in:

    $ENCOUNTER/tools/fe/gift/scripts/tcl/
