Extracting OBS spacing statement from the Encounter db

All,

  I'm trying to figure out a programatic way to get at the following obstruction "SPACING" statement inside my macros' LEF files:

OBS
  LAYER layerName SPACING minSpacing

   I have the following code to run through the OBS objects on the specified cell:

 dbForEachCellLefObs $cellPtr lShapePtr {
   dbForEachLayerShapeShape $lShapePtr lShapeSPtr {
      dbShapeRect $lShapeSPtr
    }
 }

...but I can't find the db command that will let me know what the spacing needs to be to the defined rectangle.

Please help?
