Execute EPS without verilog,SPEF

I'm VoltageStormPE user. Frankly speaking VoltageStormPE
demand DEF, LEF and PowerReport in the view of design data.
Now we are about to move into EPS.
EPS seems to demand DEF,LEF,PowerReport as well as verilog,SPEF
even I don't need to execute power calculation.
Can I execute EPS without verilog,SPEF as substituion of VoltageStormPE.

Hi, EPS will need about the same inputs as VSPE. If you have an Encounter database, most of the data is already loaded when you go into EPS. We do need the SPEF and Verilog for power calculation, not for rail analysis.

You can also run the older VoltageStorm flow from the EPS tree, if you want to keep your old flow or do not have an Encounter database.

EPS is at it's best when you are running Encounter, since EPS can read the database directly. The Verilog, liberty files, sdc, etc, will already be loaded into Encounter.
