Does addFiller support multithreading?

In an engineering build of 81 (81e152) I got a variable to force addFiller to multithread:

set vgApiUseMT 1
setMultiCpuUsage -numThreads 4

Does that work in 91x (aside from the syntax difference on setMultiCpuUsage)?  I don't see any mention in the manual about addFiller being multithreaded.

I don't think it's addFiller that is really multithreaded, but just the verifyGeometry part that is run to check for DRC violations created when the fillers are added. First, try your normal flow in 9.1. The runtime of addFiller may be improved. If not, then you can try the multi-threading, but you should not need the variable.

Yes, got basically the same info from an SR I entered:

The addition of fillers itself is not multi-threaded, only the DRC checking (Verify) inside addFiller is multi-thread aware. (which is what the behavior was in 8.1 using the hidden switch)
addFiller supports multithreading in EDI9.1 without having to use any hidden switches (like set vgApiUseMT 1)
It is a production feature in EDI9.1, and is enabled using the supported Distributed Processing command setMultiCpuUsage

The publication team overlooked this information and forgot to include it in the EDI9.1 documentation.
I will be filing a doc CCR to make sure it gets into the next version of the documentation.
