encounter : place/preplace buffers next to IO pads

Hello,

 

There are about 600 buffers which should be placed as close as possible to the io pads they are connected to. I set “set_max_capacitance 0” on the relevant nets before placement

 

> setPlaceMode -timingDriven false -reorderScan false -congEffort high doCongOpt true -modulePlan false -placeIoPins false -wireLenOptEffort high

 

>placeDesign –noPrePlaceOpt

 

It has not worked.


What is the recommended flow / solution for such cases?
