hi all,

i have a problem with ecoAddRepeater command.

when i am trieng to add a buffer to SE pin of a spare Gate cell by ecoAddRepeater command it is giving " desired buffering is infeasible" . But when i add to SI pin of same cell it is working.

and also working for the other SE pins of flops (not spare flops) which are driven by same net

thanks
madhavi.

By any chance is the net connected to SE pin a create_clock or create_generated clock? Just a guess. In other tools in the past add repeater has not worked on clock paths.
