1. is there any way to turn on legalization during optimization instead of doing after opt. The tool by default legalizes placement after cell changes are made. 2. has anyone had trouble with optimizing manually inserted clocktree or flops.. -regds

    Hi,

I don't think there's a way to have the placement legalization happen during opt instead of at the end. (It does happen several times during opt though, if you watch the logfile you'll see this happen.) But, why would you want to? Your runtimes would skyrocket. Maybe I don't fully understand the question...
