Multi Power Domains Design (PnR) flow

Hello,

Does Cadence have UPF aware flow? Is it possible to create with Encounter a single FP, which divided into few different power domains (areas) for different modules, with autonomous power rings?

Is there any documentation / instructions for such kind of floorplanning and placement?

Thank you,

-Boris

     Hi Boris,

Please see the chapter called Low Power Design in the Encounter User Guide. You should find everything you need there.

    Thank You very much Kari.

Is it possible to ask Cadence to send / sell the slides from their training “Low-Power Implementation”?
Usually their presentations for classes are more inclusive and practical (step by step) than user-guide documents, but unfortunately I do not have time to take this training now. Thanks again,

    -Boris

     Hi Boris,

That's a question for the training department. Here is the training contacts page:
