Custom Buffer Insertion

Hello,

I am trying to insert my own optimized buffer tree solution after the placement is done (in First Encounter). Has anybody tried this before?

Thanks,

-RH

Thanks for the suggestions. The problem with current buffer/inverter solution in synthesis is ineffecient chains and scenic routes. Having manual and custom tree will enable designers to specify driver/sync points and the depth of the chain. There can be some degreee of control in terms of placement (prxomity to driver or receiver) and routing.

This is too much to wish for but I have started an effort to code this. Will keep you updated.
