1 question for hold SI Fix, 1 question for MMMC

hi, ALL:

I got 2 questions recently.

1. When I am using 'optDesign -si -setup -postRoute', I found that SOCE just use 'launchChild' command to call 'CeltIC', then load the attacker-victim file. Then encounter will use 'fixGlitchVio' and other commands to fix SI & CrossTalk. This is the case for setup (worst) corner SI & crosstalk fix. But how can encounter fix the hold violation with minus crosstalk delta delay? By using incr SDF or something? I am using SOCE52.

2. Can I set different derating factors for best and worst corners, for example, 1.0, 0.9 for worst corner, 1.0, 1.1 for best corner. So I should use multi-corner feature in SOCE. Can SOCE52 do this?

Many thanks!

Migrating to MMMC, even with only a single setup and single hold view, would help with both of these issues. If you're able to, I'd recommend migrating to a more recent version- 7.1 if possible. MMMC support is not available in 5.2. I believe it was first introduced in 6.1.

    Thanks,
    Bob
