Placing Via where I want it.....

Hello,

Is there a command to place a via  at a particular co-ordinate in Encounter (I am using 8.1)? I am trying to place TSV type via (which I have defined in the lef and tech files) in a particular grid fashion....

     Hi,

    You can use

    setViaEdit -viacell myVia

to name the via you want to place, then use

    editAddVia x y

to place the via. Check the Text Command Reference for more details/options of these commands.
