What is the equivalent of "synopsys translate_[on|off]

Synopsys-DC allowes the designers to embed "synopsys translate_off followed by translate_on" in the RTL, to inform DC that the RTL code inside those two statements should not be synthesized.

What is the equivalent procedure in RC?

     Same thing. RC supports a number of SNPS pragmas or if you are more of a purist you can replace with

     // cadence translate_on/off

    The folllowing attribute allows you to create your own pragma keyword

     attribute name: input_pragma_keyword
              category: hdl (controls HDL file processing)
           object type: root
           access type: read-write
             data type: string
         default value: cadence synopsys get2chip g2c ambit pragma
                  help: Specifies pragma keywords.

    regards,

    gh
