handling cost effective ECOs

archive
archive over 17 years ago

Hi,

We get to do many ECOs in our designs and even a little change has been using many mask layers. I was wondering if there is a more efficient way to layout spare kits to provide more routing resources for ECO. I know about stacked via approach and TIEHI/TIELO cell usage.

Anybody doing routing grid around the kits? Any other inputs will be helpful.

Thanks.
