Adding power ring along IO

    I am trying to create a Power Ring along IO using Encounter addRing command, it works fine for creating power ring around core area, but if there are multi height IO's & if i want the power ring to be along the IO, addRing command does not works properlly.
   
    so if any one who has some ideal about adding a power ring along the IO, using encounter command, let me know.

command i am using

CMD> addRing -spacing_bottom 2 -width_left 3 -width_bottom 3 -width_top 3 -spacing_top 2 -layer_bottom m8 -stacked_via_top_layer m8 -width_right 3 -around core -jog_distance 2.5 -offset_bottom 2.5 -layer_top m8 -threshold 2.5 -offset_left 2.5 -spacing_right 0.42 -spacing_left 0.42 -offset_right 2.5 -offset_top 2.5 -layer_right m7 -nets {VDD } -follow io -stacked_via_bottom_layer m1 -layer_left m7
