Why encounter places std cells on macro?

archive
archive over 17 years ago

I am totally confused with this behavior.
Do I have to add placement blockage on macros? My version is 5.2.

If so , how to ?
I can only find Place->Specify->Placement Blockage but this is not what I want.

Thank you.

     Hi,

Try to set the fixed status for each macro in the design.
