Cadence equivalent for Synopsys SAED90

Hi all

I had a very simple question

There is a free to use Library by synopsys called SAED90, which is a standard cell library provided by them for education.

This library has some example designs inside, most notably, it has some building blocks of OpenSPARC CPU.

So they allow students to synthesize for example the FPU of OpenSPARC using a set of previously prepared scripts.

Now, I was thinking may be Cadence is also providing a similar package. a sample free to use Standard Cell library along with some designs  to be used as examples.

Is this true?

Where can I find this package or any thing similar?

Regards

     Hi mamsadegh,

please access http://support.cadence.com and search for Rapid Adoption Kit or "RAK". The Rapid Adoption Kit highlights various features on the Cadence tool suite but most of those rely on a similar library similar to what you describe as SAED90. In addition, RTL Compiler provides tutorial.lib/tutorial.lbr which is built into the tool and provides and easy way to do development in the absence of a production library
