Selected Special net name

Hi ,

I want to get the selected Special Net name using db. If i select a sNet and i can't use dbGet selected.name since thr is no name option for sNets. And also reportSelect i can't use in my script. Hence if you know any other way to get the name of an selected sNet using db commands, let me know.

What version of EDI are you using? I'm using 10.1 USR3, and the following works for me:
encounter 5> dbGet selected.net.name
VSS

Hi Kari,

Am using 9.1usr2. It is for SNET.

This should work in 9.x:
dbGet [dbStripBoxNet [dbGet selected]].name
