SOC Encounter power plan & Virtuoso Layout vdd! soft pin

 Hello,

I am using the encounter tool to produce a def file so as to import it to virtuoso.

At the encounter power plan phase I  assign the power net names to vdd! and gnd!.

The import of the def file goes fine and in the layout editor I want to create a shape pin with name vdd! on the related power net.

However the tool does not allow me to. I can use the names vdd and VDD! for the soft pin, but not vdd!.

On a new layout editor, I have tried successfully to create a metal1 rectangle net with name vdd! and place on it a soft pin with name vdd!

Why does the problem above issue?
